Routine Foot Care

This preventative service is usually not covered by insurance. In some circumstances, however, insurances may opt to cover it depending on whether there are any underlying medical conditions that indicate that it is a medically necessary service. For more information, please check with your individual insurance.

As people age, it becomes more difficult to reach the feet and maintain healthy foot care on their own. Routine foot care includes any of the following:

  • Debridement of toe nails
  • Removal of corns and calluses
